Baby Peter’s Rescue story

A local family reached out to us because Mary was in a desperate situation and her 10 week old baby was at high risk of being trafficked. With the help of our supporters we were able to rescue Mary and baby Peter. We helped Mary access a 1 year recovery program where she could live with her son in safety. Mary was transformed, she met Jesus, learned to sew and clean. After she finished her rehabilitation we helped re-located her to another area of the country. There her extended family built her a new house and we dug a well and provided equipment for her new home.

Mary is now bold in sharing her faith with her extended family and told everyone that she read the entire Bible in three months and is a ‘new person’. Through our partners we have helped linked Mary up with a local church and employment opportunities.
